ReplyDeleteHello from Minnesota! My favorite homemade Christmas gifts are edible: baked goods, peanuts, summer sausage, wine... I love them because they are personal recommendations and almost always delightful. As far as sewing goes...I'm becoming very intrigued with quilted pillow covers. I think it would be a blast to exchange them with someone special.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you mean my favorite homemade gift I received? Or ones that I like to make and give? In any case, I'll go with the latter, as that's the one that comes to mind...
ReplyDeleteFor my daughter's 3rd Christmas (when I was VERY pregnant with her twin brothers, and basically on bedrest), I made her a lovely cloth Waldorf dolly, with handmade clothes and a hand-knitted sweater. They became the best of friends and she still treasure her... 15 years later and in college!
Thanks for the give-away....
Hi: I've been a follower for a while. I love the sparrow pin cushion. I like to give more than get. Getting gifts? Vanilla Fields Perfume. Giving gifts? Thinking about what I have that I can share, including time; then, trying to fill a need, if I know of one....then, following through. Then, that lovely warm feeling of having made a difference, however small.
ReplyDeleteI am a new follower. Thanks for the giveaway and thanks for being part of the hop. I am making mug rugs.

I am a new follower and I made flannel quilts for my whole family. They are so nice and warm. It only takes a couple of hours to make - just a lot of tying ends that takes a lot of time to do. Thank you for the chance to win the kit to make that cute sparrow pincushion. Happy Holidays.
