I had a lot of fun making this cupcake skirt for my daughter. I used the simplicity pattern 2242 for the
basic design. Here is where I deviated
from the pattern:
For the bottom layer I sewed 5” squares alternating between the cupcake
pattern and the pink. Then cut it to fit
the pattern piece. This skirt is easy to
make and wear.
**Wouldn’t it be cute with rick rack on the bottom of the
hem?
